Imagine a photograph of a couple who married 20 years ago glazed onto a bone china plate together with the wording you would like around the rim; what a great 20th anniversary gift. That is what we do! Of course it doesn’t
have to be a wedding photo, but these are popular. The glazing is permanent and the finish is similar to your dinner plate or coffee mug, the glazing process is the same for both.
We are often asked to print a photograph onto a plate. There is a method of printing on plates, it’s called sublimation and uses a heat press and special ink. The finish is not permanent and it is only possible to print in the centre of the plate and not on the rim. We glaze.
We offer a selection of plate styles: all our plates are fine bone china, white in colour, and measure 8 inches/20cm in diameter. You can choose the plain plate, or the same plate with 2 silver or gold bands added; or we can colour the rim blue or pink (the latter are particularly popular for our birth plates). A top quality lined gift box is available.
